Taking gabapentin and modafinil together may lead to increased side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, or difficulty concentrating. While modafinil is a stimulant and gabapentin is often used for nerve pain or seizures (and can cause sedation), they do not necessarily 'cancel each other out'.
