Can I take Omeprazol and Paracetamol together?

Why this happens

Omeprazole reduces stomach acid, while paracetamol is mainly absorbed in the small intestine. While omeprazole can slightly change how quickly the stomach empties, studies show this does not have a meaningful effect on how well paracetamol works or its safety levels in the body. They are processed by different enzymes in the liver.

You can take these medicines together as prescribed or according to the packaging instructions. You do not need to space them apart. If you find that your pain is not being controlled or if you develop new symptoms, speak with your pharmacist or GP.
