Why this happens
Omeprazole reduces stomach acid, while paracetamol is mainly absorbed in the small intestine. While omeprazole can slightly change how quickly the stomach empties, studies show this does not have a meaningful effect on how well paracetamol works or its safety levels in the body. They are processed by different enzymes in the liver.
What you should do
